About Litrato ni Juan:

Hi! I am Alexis Lim, the mind behind Litrato ni Juan. It was in October 2009 when I decided to make a photoblog. Litrato ni Juan’s first platform was actually in Blogspot then simultaneously post on Wordpress. Yes, 2 platforms but with the same posts. Luckily, I got the LitratoNiJuan for Blogspot but failed to use it on Wordpress so I used LitratoManila instead. But after a month of blogging, I eventually switched to Tumblr. In this platform, I found out who I really was as a photographer. I learned a lot from the photographers I met here and I grew into this person who’s knowledge in photography became deeper.

About the Blogger’s Camera:

Everyone started out small. I started to like photography when I had my first point-and-shoot camera, which was a Nikon Coolpix. But after a year of using it, I eventually got a Nikon D40. My very first DSLR helped me explore the basics in photography. After 3 years, I eventually bought a Nikon D300s which is a pro-body camera. Having this current baby made me learn every concept that must be learned in photography. But being great in photography doesn’t mean that you need amazing camera bodies, just have the right knowledge and eye for things then that’s it.
